Being connected to Daemon Black sucks…
Thanks to his alien mojo, Daemon’s determined to prove what he feels for me is more than a product of our bizarro connection. So I’ve sworn him off, even though he’s running more hot than cold these days. But we’ve got bigger problems.

Something worse than the Arum has come to town…

The Department of Defense are here. If they ever find out what Daemon can do and that we’re linked, I’m a goner. So is he. And there’s this new boy in school who’s got a secret of his own. He knows what’s happened to me and he can help, but to do so, I have to lie to Daemon and stay away from him. Like that’s possible. Against all common sense, I’m falling for Daemon. Hard.

But then everything changes…

I’ve seen someone who shouldn’t be alive. And I have to tell Daemon, even though I know he’s never going to stop searching until he gets the truth. What happened to his brother? Who betrayed him? And what does the DOD want from them—from me?

No one is who they seem. And not everyone will survive the lies…

Oh how i love this series!

If you love YA novels you must read the Lux series. Onyx is the second in the series and has a little more action in it compared to Obsidian.

Armentrout’s writing is addictive, clever and fun! The worlds she creates and her characters are full of wit and charm. You can’t help but fall in love with them.

Onyx had me laughing one minute and in tears the next. It has a roller coaster of emotions that i really wasn’t prepared for.

A lot of the question or assumptions we had in the first book have been answered and a few more twist have surfaced. We get to meet a new character thats stirs up the ‘will they won’t they’ relationship between Katy and Daemon.

There is also a heartbreaking event that i am still not happy about! And i was starting to get annoyed at Katy’s ‘Daemon doesn’t like me’ attitude but in the end i was dying to read the next book Opal.

Opal book three is out 11th December.

5 Stars: Amazing! I loved it and could not put it down. I highly recommend it.

Starting over sucks. When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I’d pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring…. until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up. And then he opened his mouth. Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something…unexpected happens. The hot alien living next door marks me. You heard me. Alien. Turns out Daemon and his sister have a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal their abilities, and Daemon’s touch has me lit up like the Vegas Strip. The only way I’m getting out of this alive is by sticking close to Daemon until my alien mojo fades. If I don’t kill him first, that is.

Sexy, scorching, and sizzling! Obsidian is a breathe of fresh air. If you thought vampires and angels were hot wait until you meet the sexy aliens in the Lux series. I was hooked from the very first page. Obsidian is full of wit, humor and action. It has amazing story lines and exciting twists. Never has science fiction been sexier. No more green men with big heads. Armentrout gives us hotness beyond our wildest dreams times three.

It is hard not to fall in love with Katy. She is smart and witty; she also gets bonus points for being a book blogger. Daemon is the typical bad boy that gets your blood pumping. One minute you are swooning the next you want to slap him.  Then there is Dee who is gorgeous and sweet.

Only one more month to go and Onyx is out. Yay! I can’t wait to get my hands on more of these amazing series.

Also if you haven’t already, make sure you grab yourself a copy of Shadow (Lux 0.5) from the Lux series. It is even hotter than Obsidian! Dawson is by far my favorite alien and I have a soft spot for Bethany.  It is only short which made me sad as I could have read a whole series just about them.

For a few extra chapters from the series make sure you check out Jennifer L. Armentrout’s Goodreads page.

5 Stars: Amazing! I loved it and could not put it down. I highly recommend it.
