Hi everyone it’s Top Ten Tuesday Time 🙂
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish.
This weeks question: Top Ten Books I’d Want On A Deserted Island
The Harry Potter series by J. K. Rowling (hmmm does that count as seven?)
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins (I haven’t read them since they first came out and a deserted island would be the perfect time)
Shadows by Jennifer L Armentrout (I need my sexy alien Dawson to keep me sane)
Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare (I am a sucker for this play)
Tully by Paulina Simons (I have read this book more times then I can remember. It was the first book I read that had so much emotion in it that I was crying for hours)
Lord of the Flies by William Golding (Being on a deserted island I think it will be good to have a ‘how to survive a bunch of murderess kids’ guide)
The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald (It is a quick read but in the small amount of pages it is full of amazing language that makes me smile)
Homer’s Iliad and The Odyssey (It would be great to have the time to read through both)
The Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer (I know a lot of people are going to hate this one but I am a big sucker for this series. Twilight was the only book I could read after the last Harry Potter book came out and it made me want to buy all the amazing YA books I read now!)
I can’t wait to find out what every one picked!
Harry Potter is on top of most people’s list.. haha.
Very great choices! I have a couple of those on there myself and I really should have put a few classics on my list. A deserted island is a place that I would actually finish them 🙂
yeah id take the twilight series for sure! Check out our TTT ~ Katie @ Inkk
Maybe Twilight isn’t the most perfect book ever, but it got a lot of people back into reading (me for example!). That’s reason enough to take it with you to a deserted island! And I’m up for counting Harry Potter as one 😉

Wow, I really love your list. Lots of great choices!
There is nothing wrong with liking Twilight. All the Twilight hate bothers me. Certainly people have a right to not like the book, but it seems so trendy to dislike it. People should respect other people’s tastes in books. And I’m not even a huge lover of Twilight. I like it, but I like a lot of books more. But all the Twilight hate really makes me upset.
I like Dawson too, but I am so freaked out to see how he is coping since he’s been gone. I’m so worried! But I can’t wait to read Onyx!
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks! I know people who hate it and haven’t even read it.
I am the same about Dawson. I hope he doesn’t lose that gorgeous smile i love 🙂
